You sent out the resume youre a perfect fit and yet no one calls. Sound familiar? In fact, a majority of candidates today do not receive a response on a submitted resume. So the big question is, When is it appropriate to follow up with an employer on my submission and how do I do it? There is no answer that will fit every scenario, but there are general rules you can follow.
- The last final thing is that you must make sure that all the information given in the sections of job experience, skills and others are honest and accurate. When accepted for the job applied, all the experience and skills mentioned in the resume will be expected from you. It will never be good to put yourself in an embarrassing situation.
No place is that more evident than when it comes to getting hired. As it turns out, knowing who to contact and how to contact them is a key component to becoming that known entity, and gaining a foot up on your competition.
Want to demonstrate how well you work with others? Include group activities and particularly tough class assignments on your resume. For example: If you had to create a product or perform a case study as part of your grade, you can include this if it is relevant to the job duties you will be required to perform if hired.
