In software development, we are equipped with attractive skill sets and effective work experience and we mention this in a very relevant manner, but there may be a chance of bottlenecks that can put us in an awkward situation at some points. These points may refer to employment gaps or short stints during your career span. We have to be very careful while mentioning these in our resume. It is better suggested to acknowledge the gap in such a manner so as to not create a negative impression. This can be done by being honest and mentioning the reason for the gap.
This section will only contain information about you that is commendable and that will set you apart from the crowd. Using the right kind of descriptive and complimentary words, you will achieve this quite easily. Your summary will show your prospective employer that you alone will be the best fit for the position needed to be filled.
1. Making the content employer friendly is very important: It is cent-percent true that every employer wants the applicants to mention only relevant information. It will be a plus point for him/her if the candidates even address the concerns those specify the deservedness of latter over other job-seekers.
List any experience that may be valuable: Any volunteer work that one may have done, any school event that one may have headed and organized, or involvement on a project related to the environment may all be relevant to a potential employer. Make sure that the details about your experiences that you list in your resume are relevant to the job that you are seeking and that they would not be extraneous to the job at hand. For instance, if one in figuring out how to write a resume to apply for a nursing related job, it is more relevant to put in details about volunteer work that one may have done for a charitable institution or at the local hospital rather than putting in information about the summer job as a waiter or a cashier or about being the editor of the school magazine.
