Some of the hr managers only want to read the skill sets a job seeker has and nothing else. The other thing is to use Times new roman or Georgia font to be readable. Even other fonts like Arial and Thomas are also allowed in the resume. However, a person must stick to one to make it look good and attractive. If a person is applying for the post of graphic design, he must be able to prepare his resume creative to get employers attention.

Look to keep your resume to one page and always present it on white paper. Hiring managers like things they are familiar with, so don't send in a wacky resume or one with differing fonts. If you have decided to change career then add an objective, otherwise a summary will do.
