Doubravka Tamara. resume. March 13th , 2017.
If your talent is hairdressing, write that your creations have been featured at XYZ hair show and that your technique is now copied in Salons throughout the Mid-West! You get the idea.
Number Four: Sell Yourself! Your resume is your personal advertisement and yet it's amazing how many people fail to treat it this way. Think about how an ad copy professional would write your resume if it were their job to sell you to a hiring manager. Instead of listing your previous job title as, "Account Representative," they might write "Outstanding Account Representative who prides himself on providing detailed customer service and timely responses for a complete customer experience." See the difference?
No matter how bad it went, never discuss or bad-mouth your past job during the interview. The hiring manager may think you will to do the same when you apply to another company.
Hobbies and interests can also be included on your resume. Be careful, though, to only use those hobbies and skill sets that are relevant to the position for which you are applying. Avoid creating an entire "hobbies" section. Instead, include the skills that you have gained from your hobbies and highlight those skills throughout your resume for fresh graduate.
