Amor Pistis. resume. June 02nd , 2017.
The perfect tool of getting a job interview is to write a resume that suits all the requirement of your employer and "stand up" among all your competitors. Resume is actually an advertisement selling you yourself as a product to employer, which acts as customer. The one and only way to impress your customer (employer) is to clearly indicate how good or suitable are you to fit in the post that the company is currently employing. You need to be very clear of the job requirement, and emphasize all the skills you have that are related to the job requirement in your resume.
2. Not achievement driven. Employers want to see what results you contributed to, and how you did it. Listing only duties and responsibilities will not convey the full story.
In summary, the dollar-driven resume is one of the best tools available to an executive or manager seeking a new role in today's competitive market.
Now this may not be the most glorious, high-paying role, but it has the ability to look the strongest on your resume or LinkedIn profile. A lot of colleges actually require students to complete an internship program prior to receiving their degree, which has lead some people to believe that students are the only people who can get internships. Although some companies and Internship programs require that interns receive class credit, but those types of internships are usually unpaid. Many colleges have Internship programs already set up and available via their career centers or websites. Make sure you utilize your schools network while you can. You can also try reaching out to former classmates or recent alumni that you may be connected with. I found that emailing former students from my classes and student organizations that had been out of school for 2-3 years usually knew of available internships at their companies and can help introduce you to the right person to talk to about internships. Internships have the unique ability to help you gain valuable work experience and networking opportunities, and they can even lead to a fulltime job offer.
