8. Too much information. I know, I know, you dont want to leave anything out that might be important to a hiring manager. However, too much information creates the eyes glazed over effect with readers. Focus on whats most important. The interview can flush out additional details.
Many employers prefer this type of condensed resume format due to the time it saves them from scrolling through long and detailed resumes. As more and more companies receive a tremendous amount of resumes, hiring managers desire shorter and more direct resumes that get straight to the point.
The resume must have more space as well as formatted. It is good to have one or two page for resume as more information or grammatical errors have a chance t o reject the resume. Reviewing and updating the resume is always necessary so that employers can know about the latest achievements of the job seeker. Resume does no get outdated any time there is no thing like last minute job application and so including all the important points in the resume is the main thing. There are many people who used to spend lot of time making their resume to stand out but some of the hiring managers do not find it anything attractive in the resume and so they get rejected.
