Resume experts argue over whether this section is really necessary. Most seem to agree that if you are a recent college graduate, you should state an objective. Another category of job seeker who could utilize this portion would be those of you who are changing careers. If you don't fall into either of these two categories, most resume experts seem to think that any job objectives can be reviewed nicely in your cover letter.
"We all enjoyed meeting you and having the opportunity to discuss your experience, BUT we just do not think you have enough experience for this position. We will definitely keep you in mind/ keep your resume on file if anything comes up that may be a better fit for you."
You lied about or apologized for or over-explained your qualifications. If you lack confidence in your abilities, how can an employer have confidence that you are the right person to hire? A resume should describe you honestly but also show you at your best.
2. If you're a management-level person, I recommend using a profile section, which has a heading such as "SALES EXECUTIVE," followed by a concise summary of your strongest, most relevant points-generally, not more than five or six lines.
